From Personal Challenge to Fashion Innovation
Clueless began with a personal struggle. While I have always enjoyed dressing well, I have next to zero ability when it comes to putting together an outfit without constantly committing fashion faux pas, such as wearing black shoes with a brown belt 🫣... Which if you ask my wife, is just about the worst thing a person can do.
For me, there is a certain vulnerability that comes with getting dressed. I usually stand in my room naked staring at all my options and draw blanks on what goes with what. Most of the time I end up taking pictures of a bunch of options or put something on and take a picture to then send this in an outfit SOS text to my wife and sister for their blessing 🤞.... Then the anxious wait for them to reply 🥲 .... checking how much time I had left before I had to catch my train to the city for work. If I didn't hear back in time, then it became outfit Russian roulette, where I hoped that what I picked would eventually get a 👍 and not a 👎.
Each day, I faced real anxiety over fashion choices, feeling lost in a world where making these decisions seemed instinctual to others but perplexing to me. One day, I decided to test something out, I texted both my wife and sister but also uploaded the photos to chatGPT and asked it the same question... Then waited to see what my wife and sister said.... more often than not, chatGPT would give the same advice but at near instant speed.
EUREKA! A fashion breakthrough is made! The results were liberating—I no longer had to wait for a reassuring text from my "personal stylists.". This was the spark that led to me creating Clueless Clothing—an app that uses the power of AI to deliver quick and thorough outfit analyses, helping users step out with confidence.

The plan is to make Clueless Clothing a comprehensive digital closet application, aiming to be the fastest and most efficient in the market 🚀.
What we've noticed is that most digital closet apps are inefficient, requiring users to spend months uploading photos that ended up poorly cropped and hard to use. Clueless will revolutionize this by simplifying clothing representation through icons and emojis. Through this Clueless will focus on what truly matters: ensuring that your outfits are stylish, cohesive, and representative of you.

Clueless won't just be for those clueless about style but will also focus on providing, a wide array of users, insights into their closet that will help them maximize use of items, pre-generate outfits weekly, and give users a nudge when it's time to donate certain items.
